How do I open an account?
There are two ways to open an account:
- Online(For Individual U.S. Accounts Only)If you are a U.S. citizen wishing to open an individual account, you may do so by completing our secure and easy Online Account Application.
- By Mail(For All Account Types)Visit our Apply By Mail/Fax page, select the appropriate account type, then download and print documents. Please complete, sign, and mail documents following instructions. Please include a copy of your Driver’s License or Passport where applicable.

How do I fund a new account?

To send money to Advantage Futures by wire transfer, please call your Advantage Futures client representative for wiring instructions. - By Check-

What is the minimum balance required to open an account with Advantage Futures?
You can open an account with an initial minimum deposit of $10,000.00. However, Advantage Futures requires that all accounts be funded appropriately and in accordance with the associated risk.
How do I withdraw money from my account?
You can securely transfer money between your Advantage Futures account and an account of the same name at another financial institution by requesting a wire transfer. Please contact your account representative for specific instructions.
Can I transfer an account to Advantage Futures from another firm?
Yes. During the application process you will have the opportunity to transfer an account from another firm. Once your account is open, you may consolidate funds at Advantage Futures by completing a Transfer of Account Authorization form. You can find this form in the Supplemental Forms page. Once submitted, account transfers generally take three business days.
What are Advantage Futures’ commissions and fees?
Advantage Future’s commissions and fees are based on trading volume and margin utilization. Professional traders may be eligible for lower commissions if they qualify for the Professional Traders Group (PTG) annual commission cap. In addition, your Advantage Futures account representative may be able to assist in lowering your trading costs by identifying membership opportunities that could reduce exchange fees.

What is Advantage Futures’ margin policy?
Advantage Futures charges Exchange Minimum Margins, but reserves the rights in our customer agreement to raise those margins at our discretion.
Initial margin is required to open any new position. Any account that subsequently falls below maintenance margin will be required to bring the account back above the level required by the initial margin amount by either: adding funds or decreasing the position until the requirement is met.
Where do I find forms and applications?

Can I trade in an IRA or retirement account?
Yes, you may trade in an IRA or other retirement account at Advantage Futures so long as you have a custodial account with a separate trust company. There are several trust companies that specialize in providing custodial services for a range of retirement accounts, and we recommend that you first consult with a tax advisor.

How do I receive my account statements?
Advantage Futures clients receive statements via email as a PDF file. Statements are usually sent at approximately 8:00 pm CST the same business day.
Can I check my account online?
Yes, Advantage Futures provides clients with access to Internet Inquiry. Internet Inquiry is accessed via our website and provides a near market to market update of your account. You can view transactions, P&L, open positions, and money line balances.
What happens if I lose my internet connections while trading?
If you know your position and need to exit a trade, you may do so by contacting our 24-hour Global Execution Desk. If you are unclear whether a particular trade has been executed by the exchange, you can contact Advantage Futures or the exchange directly.
Do you accept Non-US customers?
Yes, but they must complete a W-8 form and an Appointment as Agent form. In addition, a copy of a valid passport will be required.
